At Dunham on Trent, we aim to provide the highest standards of education in a happy, caring and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and supported. Our dedicated and skilled staff encourage children to do their best, enjoy their learning, develop a sense of responsibility and show kindness and consideration to others. We celebrate each child’s individual strengths and interests, providing a wide range of opportunities alongside our National Curriculum learning.

Visiting Our School

We warmly encourage families to come and see what makes Dunham on Trent such a special place to learn. We are always happy to show families around, answer any questions and help you get a feel for our school community. No question is too small, and we understand how important it is to find the right school for your child. You are very welcome to visit more than once if you would like to see us again or find out a little more.

Visits can be arranged during the school day or after school, and we recommend making an appointment so that we can give you a warm welcome and make time to chat. During your visit, you may have the opportunity to see the children learning and meet our Headteacher and Class Teachers.

Reception Open Morning – September 2027 Starters

This year, we are delighted to be holding a special open morning for children who are due to start Reception in September 2027 and their families. This will take place from 9.00am until 10.30am and will be a lovely opportunity to explore our school, meet our team and discover what life at Dunham on Trent could look like for your child.

Families are welcome to drop in at any time during the open morning, and there is no need to make an appointment. We want to make visiting us as easy and relaxed as possible.

If you are unable to attend on this date, please contact the school office. We will be more than happy to arrange a personal tour of the school at a time that is convenient for you and your family.
