At our school, Religious Education is taught through a combination of the Nottinghamshire Locally Agreed Syllabusand Understanding Christianity, helping children to explore a range of beliefs while developing their understanding of the Christian faith. Our teaching is rooted in our vision, “Learning for life — together we shine,” and our values of Hope, Wisdom, Community and Respect. We bring these values to life through daily relationships, collective worship, Christian celebrations, charitable giving, community partnerships and a wide range of enriching experiences. We encourage every child to ask thoughtful questions, respect different beliefs and perspectives, care for others and the world around them, and recognise that they each have gifts to share and the ability to make a positive difference.
